The Robert Bosch Academy is proud to present the documentary:

Miss Kiet’s Children
by Petra Lataster-Czisch, Peter Lataster
Netherlands, 2016, 113 min

"Miss Kiet’s Children" is a moving glimpse into a Dutch provincial classroom where several of the young children have only just arrived in Holland, many are refugees from Mideast countries. Everything is new and confusing yet the loving, but firm, hand of their teacher Kiet Engels, brings calm and awakens interest. Focusing on the young children the result is moving, often funny, sometimes sad but by the end of the school year, the class has become a safe and close-knit community.
Please find more information on the film here.

Please note that the event will be held in English.

The screening in presence of the directors is followed by a discussion with
Kiet Engels, protagonist and elementary school teacher in the Netherlands,
moderated by Ulf Matysiak, CEO of Teach First Germany.

Please note that the event will be held in English.

You are welcome to bring accompanying persons. Please RSVP by Friday, April 14, at registration@robertboschacademy.de. Due to the high interest in our event and the limited number of seats, participation in the event is only possible with confirmed registrations.
