The fellows are renowned experts, decision-makers and opinion leaders from around the world spending a residency of several months in Berlin. They share the interest to understand Germany’s social, political and economic challenges in light of the historical context. It is against this background that current and former fellows travel to Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in October, 30 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall. They will meet representatives of the economy, civil society and politics to exchange perspectives on current sociopolitical debates in Germany.
